From high-energy showstoppers to heartfelt ballads, the program invites audiences on an emotional journey that affirms the beauty of living truthfully and loving boldly. In a time when LGBTQ+voices face challenges and threats across the globe, this concert stands proudly as an act of joyful defiance and creative resistance. It reminds us that no matter what the obstacles, or setbacks, our show must go on.

Singing in Rhode Island Since 1995
In 1995, twelve gay men responded to an ad in a local LGBTQ magazine seeking singers who shared a passion for choral music. That first gathering became the Providence Gay Men’s Chorus (PGMC).
Over three decades, we’ve transformed in unexpected ways. We’ve rehearsed in countless spaces and performed on stages throughout Rhode Island. Our reach has expanded, our music has evolved, and our ties to communities across the state have strengthened.
In 2020, celebrating our 25th anniversary, we became the Rhode Island Gay Men’s Chorus (RIGMC) to honor our statewide presence and mission.
