Join the chorus
We come from different backgrounds and experiences, and we have different ages, musical tastes, choral experience, and ability to sing and dance. Yet we believe that we are here to use our voices to uplift, educate, entertain and transform.

Get Involved
What do you need to know to join the chorus?
You need to be at least 18 years of age
You need to be able to match pitches in either tenor, baritone or bass ranges
You need to be able to memorize the music for all performances (off-book)
No audition is required
Singers of all levels and abilities are welcome
Volunteer Your Time
Become a volunteer at our concert performances by joining our “Fifth Section.” Spend a couple of hours with us greeting guests, taking tickets, passing out programs, and assisting with our raffles. If you would like to volunteer additional time outside of our concerts, please let us know. We would love to find a spot for you!
Join the Board
Participating in the all-volunteer RIGMC board of directors is a great way to apply your personal, social, and professional skills to helping RIGMC grow. As a “Community Board Member,” you will assist with providing governance, fiduciary responsibility, and setting our strategic direction for the future!
Community Outreach
For each holiday concert season, the RIGMC partners with a local nonprofit organization to support and highlight their mission and impact in the community.
Our most recent partner was Sojourner House. In addition to our regular concerts, the chorus performs throughout the community, including the American Heart Association, Gamm Theater, Temple Sinai, and Laurelmead, to name just a few.
Donate
Your donations support the rental of our rehearsal and performance spaces, the purchase of our music, the water we drink during rehearsals, and the hiring of our band and technicians.
